When each of us is born, elements throughout the universe are aligned in uniquely specific formations. Because every aspect of creation is connected, our birth stars and planets are positioned in ways that are meant to impact our lives, both positively and negatively. Similarly, birthstones also have a great impact on us.

Inherent in these constellations and formations is a unique set of influences and energetic attributes. We can choose to move with these constructs; as if being whisked away on mini rollercoasters throughout our lives, or we can challenge them by understanding how they function, then continuously choose to improve our responses to them.

Therein lie two potential responses to our birth influences and the resulting karmic flows: roll with it or rise above it.

What is a Birthstone?

While the stars and planets are working with the energetic aspects within the heavens to bring you to life and then guide you through to your death, there are other players in the game: gemstones. All the stones throughout all the galaxies and universes are born with energetic infusions. This makes each stone unique in its attributes and footprint.

Hinduism tells us that the nine gemstones connected to your specific celestial forces can help you in this life. In Sanskrit, they are known as Navaratna or The Nine Gems. By wearing some of them for specific purposes; you can protect yourself from the negative influences that were found in the heavens at the time and place of your birth. This is why birthstones can be extremely valuable to us. They can help us break karmic trends, heal ancient wounds, and escape the harshest aspects built into the fabric of our life trajectories.

What is the Origin of Birthstones?

Our birthstones were with us upon our birth, knowing who we are and who we might become. It’s in this way that our birthstones can be lucky for us. They can expedite our experiences of prior life karmas and the timelines that lead to achieving our desires. This can result in having a “lighter load” during this life.

While there is no specific destiny for the specifics of your life, there are certainly destinies related to the attributes and conditions you will attract in this life. By exploring birthstones and other gems, and with an understanding of your Vedic astrology, you can improve upon the conditions related to each category (house) in your chart. Every person’s chart is unique and every stone has a unique impact on each of those houses. Knowing your chart means knowing the details of each of your categories (houses), which also means knowing which aspects are your most palpable influencers.

Popular Jewelry Associations

In The United States and Great Britain, jeweler societies formulated their own lists of birthstones, associating one gemstone to each month. While some of these lists seem to reference the original Vedic and zodiac lists, some of the stones they promote are merely for marketing purposes.

This is why it’s vital to get your Vedic astrology reading from a talented, intuitive professional. Your birthstones may or may not coincide with those promoted by the gemstone industry.

That said, the original lists for Vedic and zodiac gemstones are strong and can provide a good first step toward welcoming gemstones into your life as healing and empowering tools.

Birthstones – Commonly Asked Questions

Are birthstones lucky?

Birthstones are lucky if they are aligned with your Vedic or zodiac chart. Also, they might be lucky if you feel a momentary connection to a specific stone. While the latter might be fleeting, it’s important to pay attention to the stones that you feel are aligned with you.

What happens if you wear the wrong birthstone?

There are no wrong gemstones. One stone might help you feel more peaceful, while another might help you experience expedited karma or a lightning-fast shift in consciousness. Even if there’s pain involved, your evolution might be worth it. That said, some stones can have negative impacts on us. Therefore, be careful to select the stones that are aligned with your astrological charts. Also, pay attention to how you feel when touching or wearing specific stones. Even though your chart or heart might point to a positive experience with a specific stone, it doesn’t mean you’ll have a positive experience with it.

Why do some months have two birthstones?

Some gemstones are connected to other stones. Also, there are primary birthstones for a given month or house, and there are secondary, third, and fourth stones. So, by being aware of your chart, you can improve the value that gemstones have in your life.

Use Your Birthstones To Help You!

Gemstones are powerful little amplifiers that can assist us in every area of our lives. When a gemstone is our birthstone, we receive even more power and presence from it. You might see your birthstone as your guardian angel. By inviting them into our lives, we can reap helpful benefits that we may have otherwise missed.

I see all living Beings as a manifestation of the divine. Therefore, I talk to my house plants, vegetables in my garden, and the gemstones on my shelves and body. While they might be tiny, they are connected to the All-That-Is, as are you. Also, say hello to all the elements in your house. There is no “other.” There is only everything.

The Pearl’s Magic: A Mythical, Magical Gemstone

The pearl's magic

Nature is absolutely incredible – just look at the pearl stone! WOW! A Shutterstock Licensed Image.

When a pearl is born, it’s the result of irritation to the soft body of its host mollusk. This irritant can be a grain of sand but is most often a parasite. Because of this unique process, pearls are the only jewels created in partnership with living creatures. They never need to be trimmed, cut, cured, or polished. They arrived perfect and ready for enjoyment. Given their illustrious beauty, pearls remain one of Earth’s most treasured gifts.

Pearls are the birthstone for our Gemini and Cancer friends born in June. They come in several shapes: Classic round, irregular Baroque, flattened Button, and Keishi “freeform” pearls. Their colors range from white to gray, and often have overtones that include green, gold, brown, purple, bright yellow, pink, silver, blue, or black, and are sometimes infused with a mystical iridescence. Pearls are quite remarkable.

The beginnings of these little wonders occur when an oyster, mussel, or clam attempts to soothe the part of its body that was invaded by a bug or granule. It does this by emanating a unique coating layer over the irritated area, known as nacre. The sea animal will add layer after layer of nacre until a beautiful, glistening pearl stone is formed. Natural and cultured pearls have similar dances, but for cultured pearls, the irritant (a bead or Mother of Pearl fragment), is surgically implanted in the mollusk. This profound process can occur in salt or seawater.

This is why pearls are considered to be the only gems born from a conscious, nurturing process, as their origin is a result of a living-Being choosing to self-nurture. It’s no surprise why pearls have a centuries-long reputation for their healing properties, especially in Asia and India. This might also be why pearls have a long list of metaphysical properties akin to crystals.

What is the Spiritual Meaning of Pearls?

Pearls have long been considered beacons of light for those who see the world through spiritual lenses. In Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism, the “flaming pearl” celebrates our wisdom and invites awareness of the divine. For healers and shamans, pearls have been known through the ages as conduits for relaxation and helpful for introspection.

Pearls are known to have alleviated the symptoms related to lung diseases, including asthma, bronchitis, and tuberculosis. For magicians and wizards, pearls are used to negate the effects of poison and attract other-worldly protection. According to ancient and island healers, pearls can stimulate the heart chakra, reduce fevers, eradicate allergies, promote the growth of new cells, and help new mothers relax when giving birth.

book-live-intuitive-reading-with-paul-wagner

The Chinese have long adorned their mythical dragons with pearls, who then invite wisdom, bravery, spiritual energy, and enlightenment into their lives. Native islanders have said that long ago, the wisest oysters would face the moon when adding their final layers of nacre to their creations. This is why the pearl stone is known to be representative of powerful feminine energy, a creator of life and worlds.

Persians believed that pearls are born when the heavens thrust rainbows into the Earth’s soil. The ancient Greeks and Christians taught their children that pearls are symbols of purity and integrity. In some Hindu lineages, pearls are believed to strengthen relationships, protect lovers, and reduce the effects of karma. Japanese mythology tells us that pearls are the tears from healing spirits and mythical beasts. Many reports that pearls help them with self-acceptance and divine foresight.

As energetic magnets, pearls can deepen our connections to our core natures. When used in rituals, they can induce loving transitions, feelings of positivity, and vast earnestness in all of our relationships. While the Romans saw pearls as representative of high status, the Quran suggests that pearls can be found in paradise.

Do Pearls Have Healing Properties?

As many healers and shamans have reported, we can use pearls as we would crystals. As spiritual tools, pearls can are calming and centering, and can nurture our faith, loyalty, integrity, and purity. They also help women connect with their “inner goddesses” and men with their feminine attributes. No matter our genders, pearls can help us reach equilibrium with a vital, balanced, feminine energy.

Perhaps most importantly, pearls embody specific frequencies and energy vibrations that can re-balance deficiencies in the human body and spirit. Just like all gemstones, pearls can be used to heal our bodies and create balance in our lives.

Pearls have been used throughout history to treat the digestive tract, muscular systems, and skin. In ancient and Egyptian culture, pearl stone powder is considered a powerful tonic for beauty. In fact, Asian royalty has used pearls for centuries to prevent the development of melanin, which causes dark skin pigmentation due to age and sun exposure.

Pearl powder helps to fade colored blemishes, reduce wrinkling and scarring, and eliminate the occasional pimple. It’s for these reasons and more that the Chinese have relied on the healing properties of the pearl for centuries. In many Asian cultures, pearls are used to heal everything from simple eye ailments to indigestion, serious heart problems, bleeding, and fever.

Are Pearls Good for Skin?

Even though Cleopatra died from consuming the dust from her crushed pearls, these stunning gems have become the obsession of hardcore health addicts. Chalkboard Magazine raves about it, “Pearl powder will not only put you en route to flawless skin on the outside but will also build precious mineral reserves on the inside.”

Rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, silica and amino acids, pearl powder can help maintain strong bones and teeth, prevents osteoporosis, and improve the health of our skin. But is it truly safe to consume pearl powder? Yes! Pearl stone powder has been used by the most enduring cultures and for thousands of years. Chinese Empress Wu Zetian lavishly covered her skin with pearl dust with the hope of beautifying her body from head to toe.

To this day, the Chinese use pearl powder as a skin whitener and cosmetics, as do many other cultures. In fact, the pearl is widely considered to be effective in controlling the skin conditions of rosacea and acne. For hundreds of years, pearl stone powder has been helpful as a detoxifier and anti-inflammatory, while Ayurvedic medicine has been promoting pearl dust as an anecdote for a variety of poisons.

Some say that if you consume a small measure of pearl dust, your wrinkles will begin to fade. To add to this power-punch, the host, sea animal’s nacre is so powerful that it can heal a variety of wounds.

Are Pearls The Next Superfood?

Pearls are packed with superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the virus/bacteria killer known as glutathione. The magnesium in pearls helps our bodies improve our levels of GABA – gamma-aminobutyric acid. Psychologists, psychiatrists, shamans, and healers alike tout magnesium as a friendly assistant in the pursuit of extinguishing depression, anger, unreasonable fears, anxiety, mental obsessions, and insomnia. You can use pearl stone powder in capsules, smoothies, salads, and your favorite beverages. With its healthy stockade of amino acids, this unique gemstone is a powerful addition to any diet.

While the FDA has been hesitant to comment on the validity of these claims, the latest research has proven that pearl dust assists our bodies in the creation of antioxidants. Why do we love antioxidants? They’re the best line of defense against free radicals, which are the creators of many diseases and pre-disease conditions. Pearl powder is considered safe to consume in small quantities. Are pearls a superfood? You betcha.

Balancing Chakras and Moods

Whether consumed or held, pearls can help us balance our hormones, improve our attitudes and moods, and open pathways to positivity and joy. They can help us meditate, pray, focus, and sleep. What’s more, pearl stone powder can zen you out. Known as a potent Shen (spirit) stabilizer, pearls support mood stability and soothe us in a variety of ways. They relieve our nervousness and help us reduce the stress in our lives. It’s no wonder that the pearl has earned a reputation as an etheric matrix for the benefit of all life.

When it comes to the major 7 in the Chakra system, pearls can help invigorate and heal your Sacral (1st or root/groin) Chakra, Heart Chakra (or 3rd Chakra), and Crown Chakra (7th Chakra, which is found outside your body, just above your head. These are the most vibrant Chakras in our systems.

the-perseonality-cards-oracle-tarot-deck

Because the Sacral Chakra is the gatekeeper for energy, lifeforce, and sexual expression, it can also be the most damaged Chakra. Given the pearl’s ability to magnetize healing, peacefulness, and earnestness, it might be the best elixir for healing a variety of social, emotional, and physical damage.

The Heart Chakra helps us pursue love in the world. When kept clean and energized, this Chakra helps us feel nurtured and supported in our lives. It helps us love more purely and innocently. This is also the Chakra that helps us improve our primary relationships and forgive. With more forgiveness in our lives, we have room for more life-energy. With more energy, we’re often more prosperous and feel more connected to the divine.

When we want to dissolve our temporary self-identities and related illusions, pearls can be our biggest ally. They protect us when we reach out to the heavens and they preserve our innocence in the pursuit of miracles. Pearls help us pray for ourselves and others. In that light, they can advance our evolution and help us awaken.

Different Pearl Types and Benefits

Whenever we hear the word “pearl,” most of us imagine the perfectly round, luminously-white gemstone. But there are many types of pearls, each with unique properties, and attributes. When evaluating one, it’s not about shape or color, rather, it’s all about the pearl’s surface luster, its brilliance, how it reflects light to the beholder. The more brilliant and mirror-like the surface of the pearl, the higher its’ quality. A dull or chalky surface indicates an inferior pearl.

Here’s a handful of pearls you’ll find in abundance throughout the world:

Mother Of Pearl:

These inviting pearls heighten intuition, psychic sensitivity, and imagination. When holding these pearls, you can attract prosperity, protect yourself from negative influence, and transmute negative energy. They’re also helpful in protecting children, just like their namesake suggests. And akin to a Mother’s love, these gemstones can purify environments and heal our memories and heart. Thanks, Mom!

Cultured Pearls

These human-made pearls are perfectly round and among today’s most coveted possessions. Often grown in a variety of sea and lake beds, these gems are the backbone of the pearl stone industry. Pearls farms use oysters as their mollusk hosts and can be found in China, Japan, Tahiti, Australia, and Indonesia.

There are many brands and creators of pearls, including Akoya, Keshi, Biwa, Mabe, and Chinese freshwater pearls, all born from over 350 species in hundreds of protected streams, rivers, lakes, and other beds of water. Because they produce the most colorful and shapely pearls, the mussel known as Hyriopsis cumingii has become the favored birther in Chinese pearl co-creation.

Tahitian Black Pearls:

Tahitian black pearls are quite unique in the pearl world. They not only invite wisdom, but are powerful magnets that attract wealth, prosperity, and everlasting love into our lives. When we invoke the gods of fertility, they appear to us adorned in black pearls. While black might conjure images of emotional or spiritual death, the heart of this pearl invites our rebirth and transformation. The most exotic pearls can fetch as much as $100,000 for an abundant, necklace strand.

Pink Pearls:

Pink pearls work especially well in support of the Sacral and Heart Chakras. Wear them close to your heart, as part of your Heart Chakra meditation, and in conjunction with other Heart Chakra-centric crystals for the most healing results. Pearls can help restructure and protect our Sacral Chakras, which can open pathways to our emotional and psychological growth.

Gold Pearls

These shining stars invite successful marriages, profitable ventures, divine guidance, and protection also. They are some of the most beautiful pearls in creation. Moreover, Gold pearls can be used in rituals that invite our ancestors to support our relationships and endeavors.

Abalone Pearls:

Abalone pearls are also known as abalone shells and have beautiful colors that encourage feelings of love, beauty, gentleness, peacefulness, and joy. It feels comforting to hold an Abalone pearl or shell. You might also enjoy rubbing them just like you would a magic- or worry-stone.

Abalone shells can reduce liver heat and symptoms that include headaches, dizziness, spasms of the limbs, and conditions of the eyes. Abalone can strengthen the heart, protect muscle tissue, and help with digestion. Nicknamed “sea ears,” the Abalone’s flattened, oval shape and iridescent interior are adored and used by Native Northwest American Indians as natural vessels for cleansing, offerings, and prayers.

Earth’s Gifts

As with all gemstones born from the Earth’s abundance, when honored and used correctly, pearls can help reconnect us with creation, inspire our healing, and attune us to beneficial frequencies and strands of energy. Like all living, light-and-sound Beings, your pearls are your friends and can protect you and keep you safe. Love your pearls with gratitude.

The Hottest Tech And Practices To Counteract The Effects of 5G

The effects of 5G

Hundreds of scientists and doctors across the world have been warning us about the dangers and effects of 5G for several years. “Resolution 1815 of the Council of Europe,” says:

5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) … and has been proven to be harmful to humans and the environment.

The key terms here are EMFs and EMRs: the electromagnetic and radioactive fields/frequencies that can damage our bodies. Many scientists claim that electromagnetic radiation can change our DNA and cause diseases like cancer. Apparently, the wireless industry isn’t just building a superhighway for movies, it’s building a massive microwave oven – with the door open!

What Can We Do To Protect Ourselves Against EMFs?

To reduce the effects that EMFs have on our minds and bodies, we can focus on our mental and emotional states, health, and diets. Eating a wide variety of superfoods can help improve your body’s vibration, including blueberries, spirulina, wheatgrass, apples, kale, spinach, and the like.

Meditation, chanting, mantras, sutras, gratitude, and other forms of prayer can also increase the powers of your life-force. Love, emotional vulnerability, positivity, forgiveness, and intimacy help as well. You might also consider moving away from cell towers and EMF-emitting stations.

While 5G is moving across the US like a mad virus, fret not! There are many new and emerging technologies that can help you counteract the effects of 5G and another EMF-emitting tech.

In addition to researching the products that feel most beneficial to you, check out this wonderful selection. While this list is just a sprinkling of what’s on offer, it might inspire your passion to explore a myriad of modalities in pursuit of protecting you and your family from EMRs.

#1: The AiresTech Guardian

Their flagship product is The Aires Guardian. It reduces the harmful effects of EMR as well as 5G in a 500 sq.ft. area. This device is built with nanotechnology and features patented tech that’s been independently tested and peer-reviewed by a variety of laboratories, institutes, and universities

While all of their products appear to be impressive (protecting everything from your personal space to exposure from all your favorite devices), The Aires Guardian is a beast. It has three next-generation, silicon-based microprocessors that reduce the harmful effects of EMRs in your vehicle, home, or office. If you’re using a computer or wireless router, chances are, you’re exposed to harmful EMFs. Visit https://www.airestech.com to learn more.

2: The Somavedic Medic Green Ultra

Somavedic Technologies is the creator of EMF-mitigating devices. Their small plug-in unit, The Somavedic Medic Green Ultra, includes a crystal glass corpus and a “heart” composed of precious metals (gold, platinum, palladium, and silver), non-precious stones, and natural energetic amplifiers. This unique combination of elements helps reduce the negative effects that EMF radiation and 5G has on our bodies.

Because of the controlled release of energy from the precious stones and metals, this technology creates a coherent “bubble” with a radius of 100 feet in all directions. The resulting field helps to harmonize our bodies and environment. The unit is also beautiful! Visit https://somavedic.com to learn more.

3: The BlocWave Hoodie

When it’s time to pick your battles outside your castle, you might want to don EMF protective armor. The makers of the BlocWave EMF Protection Hoodie state that this comfortable jacket will help to protect your body against dangerous EMFs and 5G radiation exposure. This blocking-hoodie features a wide range (57-65 dB) of protection while retaining an attractive, contemporary style.

BlocWave hoodies are made from 50% Silver Fibre, 45% Tencel & 5% Modal. You might consider wearing a cotton shirt underneath as the addition of silver in the fabric can feel a bit scratchy. Visit Emf-protection.com to learn more.

EarthInsoles.com – I love these shoes. I put them in my sandals! Absolutely an amazing feeling!

4: Mushroom Shoes

Enter – Caveri Insoles. Made with a unique formula of bonded-mushroom materials, these shoe-inserts help you feel deeply connected to the earth and reduce the effects of 5G. Your vibration will increase, your body will be at peace, and your spirit will soar – even in downtown NYC!

The company promises that these sturdy add-ons can enhance blood circulation, regulate blood sugar, and lower blood pressure. Apparently, they can also positively impact or prolong life by disabling malignant cells that cause disease. Quite a profound mission statement!

These lovely inserts are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly. Simply insert them in your shoes and voila! Visit EarthInsoles.com to learn more.

5: Orgonite

Orgonite is a man-made, rock-like object that can be created by combining resin, metals, and quartz, developed by Austrian psychiatrist, Dr. Wilhelm Reich. Reich’s unique findings suggest that while organic materials attract and hold essential energies, non-organic metals simultaneously repel and attract the same energies.

According to Reich, combining these ideas can have a powerful effect, especially against EMFs and 5G. Not only does Orgonite promise to improve your sleep, but it’s also purported to balance moods, enhance your immune system, and improve your connection to your inner-Self. They can often be found in the shape of pyramids.

Honorable Mentions

It seems we have lots of options, too. Companies like Earthcalm, Goldenwave, VortexBioShield, QuWave, DefenderShield, and QuanThor have products that either promise to block EMFs or neutralize and transform them into benign forms of energy. This can counteract the emissions coming from your laptop, tablet, desktop, computer, mobile phone, and vehicle, and drastically reduce the levels of EMFs that your body is absorbing.

Most of these companies note that their products reduce headaches, improve sleep, and lower Free Radical levels. They all appear to be keenly focused on helping humanity counteract the effects of 5G. God bless them!

You might also consider picking-up an EMF frequency and radiation detector. These meters can help you assess your home, office, and vehicles like a pro. From there, you can hunt down the products that deliver the most benefits.

Why do our governments approve technologies like 5G?

If a product points to profit and leads to upticks in stock markets, it will always find favor in the sustainers and defenders of global monetary systems. If you’re feeling upset by the insanity related to the EMF-emitting stations being installed in your neighborhood, speak up! Even though many unconscious leaders and dictators are running around the world creating havoc and comprising our health and safety, we still have voices that matter. Stand up and be heard!

In the meantime, be healthy, focus on love, and improve your vibration every chance you get. May you be filled with light and positivity for all your days on Earth!

The Best Tech For Quarantine

Best Tech for business

The Best Tech for Quarantine Life: Business and Personal

If you’ve been finding new life by reading books, making soup, cuddling, and meditating, while also watching lots of movies, you’re probably one of the millions of quarantined people living and thriving from home. If you’re looking to uplevel that hobby into a business or simply connect with friends and family not living with you, you might enjoy my take on today’s best tech.

For any home business and home life to feel more connected to the outside world, it’s vital to be a bit gregarious, create successful workflows, and maintain hopefulness and a positive attitude. There are many apps and tech sites that can help you connect, stream, chat, organize, share, and increase productivity. Some of them are wonderful. Others, not so much.

Best Tech for Quarantine Video/Virtual Conferencing

Here’s my magic list of decent tech, all built for living and working from home.

Join.me: A+

This super-simple video conferencing tool is owned by LogMeIn, which also owns GoToMeeting. It’s probably the easiest screen sharing & video conferencing solution for one-on-one classes, group instruction, personal connections, and business. It takes less than a minute to join, and you’re immediately given a personal link to start meetings. It’s great for team collaboration and lots more. It’s also the cutest interface of the bunch.’

Jitsi Meet: A

A fully encrypted video conferencing solution that lets you share desktop and presentations, invite users to conference via custom URL, edit documents together, trade messages and add colorful emojis. In some ways, Jitsi is the anti-corporate video conferencing app, one of the main reasons I love it.

GoToMeeting: A-

Also owned by LogMeIn, GoToMeeting is for power-users who need functionality like electronic hand-raising, HD audio, and on-demand webcasting. If you need training, they’re happy to provide in-person and live online sessions, or webinars, along with lots of documentation. GoToMeeting offers a helpful 14-day trial.

Webex: A-

The go-to video conferencing tech tool that was popular 5 years ago is still a viable tool in the market. Its user interface is a bit clunky and outdated, but it’s a secure and multifaceted experience, with more features than GoToMeeting.

Of note: With similar pricing and features, when you’re choosing between WebEx and GoToMeeting, it will most likely come down to these two questions:

purchase-the-personality-cards-oracle-tarot-deck

  1. Do you prefer an old-school design, but with all the latest bells and whistles (Webex), or do you want something a little slicker (GoToMeeting)?
  2. Do you want to run your conferences from a window you can drag anywhere on your screens (GoToMeeting), or do you prefer a locked window (WebEx)?
  3. Do you prefer being able to share downloadable files during your meetings (Webex), or would you prefer a free trial run for a couple of weeks (GoToMeeting)?
  4. Do you want seven simultaneous video feeds (Webex) or is six screens okay for you, but at a higher screen resolution (GoToMeeting)?

Zoom: C

Great tech, but security, Not so much. Zoom has been in the news lately because it failed to report that its privacy and security protection is akin to those of the Fourth Reich. With Zoom’s intense data absorption and residence on your computer’s hard drive, it feels a bit worse than the stealth data theft by Facebook and Google. Also, there are many reports of hackers breaking into live feeds. If you’re using live video for something private, sensitive, secret, or intimate, Zoom would not be the best choice.

While the company has publicly stated that it’s working to improve its security and terms, that’s probably 3 years away. Drastic upgrades to code and architecture can take even longer. Zoom at your own risk.

Other Contenders

You might also check out Whereby, Starleaf, RemoteHQ, Talky, Highfive, BlueJeans, and 8X8.

Best Tech for Quarantine Chat & Teams

While some folks use Google Hangouts and Meet to drive communication in their pursuits, it has limits, the dashboard is messy, and it only allows for a few participants. It’s also a bit of a train wreck for Mac users. Here are some powerful alternatives that you, your co-workers, and your customers might enjoy more:

Skype: A+

Purchased by the fat, clunky software maker Microsoft, Skype is simple to install and easy to use. It’s perfect for fast, desktop texting, small video chats, and screen sharing. You can build a team chat and share files all day long. Skype is a powerhouse and it never disappoints. It’s also far less complicated than all the other players in the game.

Slack: A

book-live-intuitive-reading-with-paul-wagner

Slack is a comprehensive chat room, built to become your only method of communication, including file sharing. Launch a workspace and organize communications by channels. Enjoy group discussions and private messages. Some say that Slack is a replacement for email. It also integrates with a long list of extremely helpful apps and integrates with the popular Salesforce, unlike its rising competitor, Microsoft Teams. Slack is easy to use and built with an exceptional design.

Microsoft Teams: B

Taking advantage of the booming collaboration software market, Microsoft forced its Office 365 users to become adopters of Teams, shortly after bailing out of a potential purchase of Slack. This provoked many managers to declare Teams as the primary team communication tool within their companies. It’s a computer memory hog like all Microsoft products, but it integrates with its own OneDrive, allowing easy access and edit of all of your team’s docs, without ever having to leave the app. It’s best for small groups.

Chanty: B-

This powerful little app is the least expensive of the bunch. Functionalities include private and public conversations, audio calls, voice messages, built-in tease management, team members and integrations, file storage, screen sharing.

Best Tech for Quarantine Organizing, Project Management, and Productivity

Asana and Basecamp provide complex, high-quality environments for you and your team to manage projects. They also require some training, or at least a few hours of trial, error, and frustration. If you want to get up-and-running faster, try Trello. It’s simpler, more visual, and potentially more enjoyable to use.

For general productivity, writing emails, and creating documents, try Zoho, which has many similar features of Google docs.

When it comes to managing your To-Do lists, I’m a big fan of Todoist. I was an early adopter and have continued with them for years. I’ve also used all of their competitors. Try it and I’ll bet you’ll love it.

The Best Tech for Quarantine Peacefulness and Meditation

There are also a variety of peacefulness and meditation mobile apps, including Headspace, Happify, Smiling mind, The Mindfulness App, Calm, Colorfy, Mindfulness Daily, Biddhify, Omvana, and many others. Some of these apps are truly beautiful, with outstanding designs. I’ve been using Happily for a long time, and I love it.

You will also love our Blended Soul™ App.

Luscious, extravagant personality readings with a spiritual, actionable premise.

Visit this page to scroll to the links to the Google Play and iOS app stores.

If you love any of these apps, remember that connecting with nature, absorbing the rays of the sun, and doing aa little indoor and outdoor gardening can be incredibly nutritive, especially during periods where we might be less active than usual.  During times like these, you might also consider developing an operational plan for your life, hobby, and home business. When we move our plan forward, our minds and bodies often follow.

Remember, too, that meditation, prayer, and healing herbs can help you improve your immune system and mindset. And a little forgiveness here and there goes a long way. Let it all go, sent firm boundaries, start fresh, eat healthfully, choose love, and remain focused on the present moment. Love, light, and blessings to everyone!

How Your Intentions And Vibration Generate Far More Experiences Than Your Brain Or Will

intention vs brain
Your vibration is a magnetic electromagnetic frequency. A Shutterstock Licensed Image.

We are all lucky to be alive during this time in the planet’s history. There are still abundances of healthy people, animals, trees, vegetation, water sources, minerals, healing herbs, and etheric Beings. There are also wondrous storms of divine magic. Many of us are protected from the ravages of war, and some people have evolved their souls to such degrees that they share light and love with others, without expectation of anything in return. All of these things are miracles. Each one of us is a miracle. You are a miracle. In this article, let’s have a look at intentions vs brain here.

When we’re born, we are thrust into the world as mostly unbound spirits. During the early days, we live from pure vibration and gut-impulse. We are needy, trusting sponges, ready for anything. Since our prior realities were comprised of energy and etheric connection, the density and slow pace of our newly minted lives confuse us.

As the months ensue, we yearn for the Mother, the eternal feminine vibration that has spoken to us for eons. Our first attempt at manifesting the Mother in our lives was through the women who gave birth to us. We continue to project the roles of Mother and Father on a variety of people and institutions throughout our lives. Until we internalize the eternal Mother and Father and own all of it, we tend to feel disappointed.

book-live-intuitive-reading-with-paul-wagner

As we meander through the world, we take on the projections of others and allow others to control and influence our intentions, thoughts, identities, and actions. Within our first few years of life, we memorize and adopt a variety of beliefs, ideologies, and constructs, most of which are based less on truth and more on the egos of others. We begin to become dependent on approval and herd-mentality. Instead of diving more deeply into our natures, we want to be and do what others have been and done.

Our families want us to be something specific, our religions want us to adopt their doctrines, and we allow society to burden us with limited, predetermined titles that outline how to spend most of our time while living on the planet. By age 18, our original vibrations and gut-senses are covered in garbage. Our quest is to become free of all of it. This is why spirituality is so important.

What Exactly Is Vibration?

Our souls continually emit interconnected packets of energy, much like how packets of data are transmitted from computers to the internet. As we emit, so we attract. When our spirits begin to form intentions, they cannot be described in words. They have no barriers to entry into the vibrational fields of reality. This makes intention extremely powerful and potent.

Meanwhile, our brains can create thoughts that carry equally substantial energy, which can also influence our realities. But the brain emits energy in disconnected, unsupported bursts. While the bursts might have a moment of successful penetration and participation in reality, they lack the potency of our intentions. If the energy burst is weak, it will die out before causing any material influence. If the brain burst is strong, it might penetrate or infect reality with a temporary construct, but it won’t have a lasting effect, unless it’s immediately and continuously repeated. When we allow our brains to rule our lives, we tend to deny our soul’s understandings and desires. This is when many of us become exhausted, numb, or sick.

Sheer Will, Brain Trusts, and Vibrational Alignment

How did we come to birth on this planet, specifically during this era? What were the instigators? Was it the sheer wills of our souls, the collective brain trust of prior and parallel lives, or were we born into this timeframe because our pre-birth intentions and vibrations matched emerging Earthly trends?

While our wills and brain trusts carry a measure of influence, our vibrations and intentions will always rule our realities. Will is built upon the temporary ego and fortified by the elusive mind. Will and brain-trusts might help us move through spacetime and occasionally tip the scales, but they’re less penetrating and magnetic than vibrations and intentions.

the-perseonality-cards-oracle-tarot-deck

Because we are comprised of energy, our intentions and vibrations will always carry the day, especially when we’re living in the other realms and choosing to birth. Once we’re living in three-dimensional realities, we tend to trust our egos and wills, thereby denigrating our intentions and vibrations. When we allow this to happen, we tend to miss out on aspects that will provoke a quickened evolution.

Our vibrating natures, eternal and magnetic, have more power than we realize. This is why meditation, forgiveness, and love are so important. These things are all born from spirit. They’re empowered by our souls’ eternal connections to the natures of the Universes. As we meditate, forgive, and love, we vibrate with the nature of the All-That-Is.

Just How Powerful Are Our Intentions and Vibrations?

Given that we are all magnetic by nature and continually connected to the source, our intentions and vibrations are extremely powerful. When we move past or through our emotions, detach from our obsessive minds, and seek the highest power, we become the highest power.

If we can meditate and pray early in the morning and before we go to bed, we can improve our abilities to honor our souls’ intentions and vibrations. Doing so, we become more attractive to everything. If we can also regularly think of God throughout our waking hours, we will improve our connection to our most effulgent truths. We might even remember all of them!

There is nothing material or dangerous that can stop us from seeking the depths of ourselves. While our temporary self-identities are adept at contriving fears and excuses, it’s vital to realize that our twisted daydreams and most toxic nightmares rarely come true. We are comprised of far more light than dark. Focus on the light, while allowing the darkness to inform you. This is the relationship that the Universe has had with itself for all time. You are light and love, always.

The Herb Purslane Is A Nutritional Powerhouse

The herb Purslane
Purslane is a truly remarkable herb! A Shutterstock Licensed Image.

The lovely, moist succulent known as Purslane, is 93% water, features dark magenta stems, and rich green, rounded leaves. Also known as Portulaca oleracea, this nutritious, edible weed has collected some colorful nicknames over the years, including little hogweed, pigweed, and fatweed. A 1st-century historian named “Pliny the Elder” suggested that 1st century Romans used Purslane as the primary vegetable during dinners and as a crunchy addition to salads. Some 18th-century French farmers were known to hate the plant, saying “it’s a mischievous weed meant for pigs.” The herb can be found in Africa, North America, Asia, and Australia.

“I have made a satisfactory dinner on several accounts, simply off a dish of purslane, which I gathered in my cornfield, boiled, and salted.”

— Henry Thoreau

Some say that Europe is Purslane’s native home, but given its succulence, it most likely originated nearer to deserts. The plant has been native to India, Greece, and Persia for centuries, but may have first appeared in North Africa some 4,000 years ago. Some archeologists suggest the plant is prehistoric. Slightly sour and infused with nuanced flavors akin to watercress and spinach, the fleshy Purslane is loved by millions throughout the world.

book-live-intuitive-reading-with-paul-wagner

This jade-like plant can be sautéed, juiced, boiled, pickled, drenched in butter, or featured in a delicious salad with oil, salt, and vinegar. It’s a versatile weed that can be grabbed from the Earth and immediately consumed. As it’s often found in plentiful heaps strewn across the countryside, the plant is easy to grow and has provided helpful sustenance throughout the ages, especially during times of famine.

Backed by a colorful and fruitful history, Purslane promises a long list of wonderful health benefits. It’s remarkable that this one plant can provide so much for us!

  • Helpful in preventing lung and other cancers
  • Aids in weight loss
  • Improves and protects cardiovascular health
  • Strengthens bones against osteoporosis
  • Reduces eye inflammation
  • Reduces inflammation on or near stings, bites, and cuts
  • Improves vision and reduces cataracts
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Heals some digestive tract diseases
  • Helps to prevent anemia
  • Helpful in losing weight
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes
  • Reduces occurrences of heart attacks and strokes
  • Reduces effects of childhood disorders like autism and ADHD
  • Helpful to the liver
  • A natural diuretic
  • Reduces occurrences of psoriasis
  • Treats headaches
  • Helpful in treating diseases related to the intestine, liver, stomach, cough, shortness of breath, and arthritis
  • Chock-full of antioxidants, which can neutralize free radicals

Purslane is wonderful for our health in a variety of situations, but it’s also a superfood. This leafy green vegetable is action-packed with omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and a variety of helpful minerals. In addition to the value derived from its unique pigments, Purslane is truly one of the most generous and nutritive foods on planet Earth.

purchase-the-personality-cards-oracle-tarot-deck

  • Magnesium
  • Manganese
  • Potassium
  • Glutathione
  • Calcium
  • Vitamins A, E, and C
  • Highest levels of alpha-linolenic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid

Many scientific studies focused on Purslane have shown that it’s of better nutritional quality than most of the world’s major cultivated vegetables. It’s also popular in Chinese medicine for the treatment of hypertension.

While all the good news might make you want to run out and harvest baskets full of Purslane, the herb should only be consumed in modest portions. Infused with 1.7% oxalic acid, it can do more than just agitate folks with digestive disorders and kidney stones. Since oxalates can inhibit the body’s ability to absorb minerals, for some, the herb can be problematic. If you love Purslane and refuse to give up the obsession, you can combine the weed with yogurt or kefir, which will decrease the herb’s levels of oxalate.

Yummy Purslane Recipes

Here are a few simple ways to enjoy Purslane:

  1. Purslane Salad: Chop your purslane leaves with some radishes, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Add splashes of apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Purslane Spinach Sauté: Heat some oil, butter, and garlic in a pan, throw in a few cups of lightly chopped spinach and purslane. Cook for no longer than 2 minutes. Add a bit of honey and salt to taste.
  3. Stuffed Purslane Avocados: Cut (4) avocados in half, scoop out the avocado meat (save the 8 half-shells), and mix in a bowl with lightly chopped purslane. Add a little chili pepper, some lemon juice, olive oil, and walnuts. When your concoction is well-mixed, scoop it back into your avocado shells.
  4. Purslane & Your Favorite Meats: Purslane is a delicious companion to duck, lamb, and fish. After cooking your meat with garlic, marjoram, curry, and/or salt, add a cup or two of freshly chopped purslane.
  5. Peaches & Purslane: Chop together a few peaches and a cup of purslane and you’ll enjoy a nicely balanced flavor of sweet and sour. Add an ounce or two of freshly squeezed orange juice. Some might also add a sprinkle of salt or spice.

Vegetarians And Futurists Unite!

Because Purslane is such a significant source of omega-3 oils, it can be a vital contributor to the health of vegetarians, who tend to avoid fish-derived oils. With uncommon nutritional value, Purslane will most likely emerge as one of the most important foods in our Earth’s future. It’s quick to grow, easy to harvest, and doesn’t require a host of fertilizers. With more than 500 known species, Purslane is available throughout the world.

COVID Quarantine: Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Things To Do

coronavirus Quarantined
Prayer works. A Shutterstock Licensed Image.

As we watch this disease coronavirus spread across the planet, we might feel alarmed, unsafe, or frightened, especially if you’re in a COVID quarantine. As the US government scrambles and ignores science, we might also feel worried about the health of our friends, families, and loved ones. As more challenges arise from political egos and our lack of preparedness, remember: This, too, shall pass.

While moving into this next phase of reality, it’s becoming increasingly important to take responsibility for our states of mind and heart. As we witness the rise in coronavirus statistics, it’s important to realize that these jumps are the result of poor data collection and all the previously uncompiled data finally making its way into the current projections. Thanks to the hard work of doctors and scientists working outside the limited federal government, we are finally on a road to understanding how this virus is functioning and the rate at which we can expect its spread going forward.

While we can never assume how our lives will unfold from day to day, we can each choose to live prayerfully, actively, and full of hope and faith. When there’s fear in our hearts, we might not realize just how beautiful and wonderful our lives are. We might even forget to love.

Are you feeling disheartened during your COVID quarantine, bombarded with headlines noting every facet of the world’s pain? Consider these loving and healing suggestions, which I hope you’ll find useful!

Keep An Active Mind During COVID Quarantine

Most of us live from our minds. These elusive, temporary constructs can be useful to us. They process information, inspire our creativity, and help us to establish our behavioral patterns. Minds can also be quite dangerous. They can generate our anxieties and feed our fears. They also tend to give rise to our dreamlife, which is not always pleasant or productive. Most of us are at least partial slaves to our minds.

purchase-the-personality-cards-oracle-tarot-deck

During tragedies and times where we are forced to isolate ourselves. we can uplift our minds, heal and release the past, forgive others, educate ourselves, and explore ways to improve our conditions. During times like these, and frankly, always, it’s our mind that needs direction, not the other way around. Here are a few ways to improve your mental condition and take control of an otherwise unruly dictator during your COVID quarantine. (Yes, I’m speaking about our minds.)

  • Learn a new healing technique and share it with others.
  • Learn to cook, ferment, jar, and freeze the foods that feel best to you.
  • Learn how to create your own medicinals using raw herbs. Making salves, teas, and tinctures is fairly simple and quick. These home remedies will help you to elevate the health and immune systems of yourself and others.
  • Read books that help you to feel more loving and uplifted. Share them with others.
  • Consider launching a home business and becoming more financially independent.
  • Research what’s happening in your community and consider ways you can help.
  • Cook for the elderly. Deliver it to their doorstep with a sweet love note.
  • Leave excess furniture and other useful items on the curb, with signs that say “FREE!”
  • This is a great time to write that novel! (Or at least a cute, little blog.)
  • Think positive thoughts and find ways to reawaken yourself when you move into negativity.
  • Consider chanting mantras to keep your mind active – and uplifted.

COVID Quarantine is a Time to Stay Physically Active And Eat Healthily

Currently, the data around how different age groups are affected by the virus is sketchy. It seems to change on a regular basis, so many of us have voluntarily chosen COVID quarantine despite the confusing projections and uncertain warnings. The best all of us can do is to focus on improving our physical bodies and our immune systems. Here are a few suggestions on how you can improve your health and diet:

  • Focus on improving your immune system. While Tom Hanks can afford his personal $500,000 ventilator, the rest of us will need to rely on our local hospitals.
  • Improve your diet with these superfoods and supplements, including Spirulina, Elderberry, Wheatgrass, Zinc, Vit D, Vit E, multivitamins for your age-group (from Garden of Life and New Chapter), Resveratrol, Moringa, and liver cleansers like Milk Thistle, and other cleansers like Black Currant Seed Oil. You can read my other articles on this site about a variety of helpful, nutritive, and healing herbs, oils, and supplements.
  • Continuously improve your diet with whole foods and small portions. For some variety, explore the different food and grocery delivery options in your area. You might find that your favorite boutique grocer is delivering or offering curbside pick-up. Order in small bursts, rather than buying out the store.
  • Consume a little less wheat, rice, and sugar, and more greens.
  • Consider intermittent fasting.
  • Add a comprehensive exercise plan to your routine. Even working out for 20 minutes, three days a week can help you reduce your chances of heart disease.
  • Learn Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, otherwise known as Harbhajan Singh Khalsa.
  • Steam and strengthen your lungs by adding a few drops of tea tree oil, eucalyptus, and lavender to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head and shoulders, and breathe deeply for 5-10 minutes. This will help you open your bronchial tubes and heal them. This is especially valuable for those of us who have respiratory challenges.
  • Withhold your ejaculate (go Tantra!) to give your body a higher vibration, increase your level of energy, and improve your immune system. Do yoga and pranic breathing to sublimate the increase in body heat and help your system continue moving your life energy upwards through your chakras.
  • Sign-up for weekly deliveries of fruits and vegetables from local farms. When your order is delivered, wear a mask and gloves when bringing it into the house. Before storing or consuming these items, wash them, and immediately soak them in a vinegar solution. Meanwhile, throw away all packing materials, including egg cartons. Store your eggs in Tupperware. Wash down all surfaces. Wash your hands. You might even consider stripping off your clothes and immediately washing them.
  • Buy herbs and learn how to make healing tinctures, salves, teas, and more

Be Friendly, Thoughtful, And Romantic

When we serve others, it’s similar to prayer. There’s no better circumstance than a COVID quarantine to practice this service, whether it’s with the people in our household or by reaching out to those we cannot currently visit. This increases our vibration and uplifts all of reality. Practice these sweet ideas in your home and with loved ones:

  • Cuddle often.
  • Cook together.
  • Hold hands.
  • Kiss each other’s foreheads ten times!
  • Give each other massages.
  • Prepare a bath for a loved one. Add some lavender to the water and light some candles!
  • Continually nurture each other in thought, word, and deed.
  • Meditate on the purity within your hearts. With vulnerable and loving hearts, you can achieve miracles.
  • Remember, too, that you are already a miracle. YES!
  • Write little love notes, emails, and texts to the people you consider most important in your life.
  • Reach out to old friends and tell them how much you love them.
  • Build new business relationships and explore the possibilities.
  • Talk to your plants and animals. Remember that you are all ONE.

Immerse Yourself In Your Spirituality During COVID Quarantine

While all of the above suggestions can help you improve your conditions, lives, and bodies, it’s your spirituality that’s most effective in helping you evolve and expand. Just the mere thought of God during this COVID quarantine will help you improve your circumstances, bring you closer to knowing yourself, and help you advance toward your most fruitful and joyful potential. Keep God and Love in your mind and heart, always.

profoundly-inspirational-inuitive-reading-with-paul-wagner

Here are a few simple suggestions that will help you improve your vibration and keep you connected to the All-That-Is. Namaste!

  • Remember that you are a powerful spirit. With regular positive thoughts and actions, you can keep your vibration elevated and in the bosom of God’s light. Please continue to be hopeful, positive, and loving of yourself and others.
  • Add Meditation, Prayer, and Lots of Deep Breathing to your regimen. When we pray for others, the Universe prays for us.
  • Sing to the Divine with an open heart. Be wild, bold, and loud! Enjoy this communion!
  • Imagine that you are the embodiment of love, connected to all the realms and universes.
  • Om into your hands three times and then massage your body from head to toe. The vibration from your Oms will improve your peacefulness and illuminate your physical form. This will help you connect with spirit while improving your immune system.
  • Remember that you are vibration more than you are a body.
  • Donate (even a tiny bit of money) to the most disenfranchised health organizations. Selflessly serving others increases our vibration and connects us with God, Light, Love, The Eternal Vibration, and The Universe.
  • Pray for our politicians and leaders so they may think clearly and be abundantly full of compassion and empathy in all of their interactions and decisions.
  • Leave a Thank You note for your mail carrier and package delivery folks. Consider giving them a small bottle of hand sanitizer as a gift.
  • Use I LOVE YOU vs LOVE YOU. Personalizing your love in this way improves the connection and further expands all hearts involved.
  • Chant mantras like, “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu,” which means, “May all the beings, in all the Universes, in all the worlds, throughout all the realms, be happy!”

This COVID quarantine is a great time to reassess our lives and build stronger, more authentic, interdependent, operational plans for ourselves. You are an infinite, loving Being, and every particle within you is born from stardust. You are literally made of light and stars. This means that the universe is in your bones! As you move through this time, you can honor all of creation by becoming more lovely, thoughtful, and empathic. Rock this time in your life, burst out of prior conditioning, seek your evolution, move beyond your mind, and live in love – YOU GOT THIS!

While the anti-cancer and brain-healing Resveratrol is found in grapes, blueberries, peanuts, cashews. cocoa powder, and wine, this powerful antioxidant is wildly abundant (more than grapes) in Japanese Knotweed. Resveratrol is unusually powerful and a natural phenol, found in a unique group of micronutrients with antioxidant properties. This puts Knotweed in an elite class of supremely healing and helpful herbs. In recent years, it’s become a vital medicinal, culinary, and ceremonial herb throughout Korea, China, and Japan, and within several spiritual communities in the United States and Europe.

This beautiful green and white plant is also as fertile as a mule. When planted among other vegetation, Japanese Knotweed becomes invasive and ravages the land, often consuming neighboring crops. Because it’s also difficult to eradicate, some folks consider this herb an enemy. Japanese Knotweed is also known as Itadori tea. The Japanese word itadori can be translated as “remove pain.” It’s used in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine. Meanwhile, when foraged in the wild, its young stems are edible, albeit sour, with a flavor reminiscent of rhubarb. The plant can be found in 39 of the 50 United States.

Japanese Knotweed Is A Natural Laxative

Infused within its cells is a bowel regulator known as Emodin, which makes Japanese Knotweed an excellent, natural laxative. Emodin also turns the weed into an effective healer of stomach ailments, cramps, and bloating, and gastrointestinal issues, like constipation. Unfortunately, many herbalists and distributors of the herb use processes that maximize the Resveratrol, while reducing the amount of Emodin in the final product.

Let’s Get To The Full List of Benefits!

Japanese Knotweed has a variety of reported benefits, including:

  • Cancer Management: Given the immense immune effects of Resveratrol, and because Japanese Knotweed is proving itself powerful, separate from Resveratrol, many studies are reporting how powerful and effective the weed is when administered to cancer patients and those with autoimmune disorders. Even the NIH has reported that Japanese Knotweed has clear positive biological effects on human cells.
  • Improves brain health and memory: The plant-derived polyphenol Resveratrol has been reported to help the brain heal and experience a degree of age-reversal.
  • Improves cognitive performance: Regular consumption of Japanese Knotweed can enhance cerebrovascular function. In other words, it can help you be more clear, focused, and productive.
  • Improves mood: if you’d like to take a slight edge off of your personality, this powerful weed can improve your mood, attitude, and mindset.
  • Neutralizes free radicals: Free radicals are unstable atoms that can damage cells, which can cause or trigger disease and aging. When free redials overwhelm our bodies, our systems can fail and we can experience oxidative stress. Japanese Knotweed can help reduce the effects of free radicals and improve the human body’s ability to heal itself.
  • Modulates blood pressure: Japanese Knotweed has a positive impact on your arteries and blood flow. With less strain and blockages, our cardiac health improves. When these things improve, other aspects of the body improve as well. The weed also helps to prevent blood clots.
  • Reduces constipation, bloating, and cramps: Because of the Emodin in Japanese Knotweeds, it can help to ease most challenges occurring in your stomach.
  • Helps to heal respiratory infections: indigenous peoples have been using Japanese Knotweed to treat many ailments, including respiratory, lung, and other infections.
  • Regulates insulin levels: Because it moderates and balances insulin levels in the blood, Japanese Knotweed can promote healthy blood sugar levels.
  • Improved absorption of Vitamins A and C. Japanese Knotweed also contains potassium, zinc, phosphorus, and manganese.
  • Potentially increases testosterone
  • Improvers estrogen metabolism and may reduce the risk of breast cancer
  • Reduces reactions to hay fever
  • Reduces acne and improves skin health
  • Reduces inflammation
  • It has a positive effect on blood fats
  • Shows potential in fights against viruses and bacteria

Additionally, Japanese Knotweed helps to slow the processes related to aging, and to establish healthy blood vessel function, improved nerve and liver function, and improved cardiovascular and heart health.

Warning To Knotweed Lovers

As with every delicious indulgence in our lives, Japanese Knotweed comes with a few alarms. If you consume too much of it, you could easily experience negative reactions. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • If you’re anemic, Japanese Knotweed might not be safe for you.
  • It might interact (that’s not a good thing) with a few prescription drugs and popular supplements.
  • High doses can be harmful. Even small doses can be harmful to certain people.
  • The long-term effects related to consuming Japanese Knotweed are unknown.

If you’re excited about diving into Japanese Knotweed, consult with a nutritionist, Ayurvedic practitioner, or herbal remedy consultant.

If you’re into foraging for herbs in the nearby wilderness, keep in mind that Japanese Knotweed has a few doppelgängers, including Bindweed, Himalayan Balsam (Knotweed and Honeysuckle too!), Bamboo, Broad-leaved Dock, Russian Vine, and Lilac. When hunting for nutritional herbs, it’s always best to have a slew of images of the herb so you can be certain when bringing your collected herbs home.

As with all things found in the forest, be careful to remove clinging vines and flowers that attach themselves to your favorite herbs. You’ll also want to clean your herbs before creating your tinctures and teas. You can submerge them in warm water with a little apple cider vinegar for an hour or so – then they’re good to go!

It’s always a great time to explore what our beautiful planet is growing for us. Making tinctures, salves, and teas is relatively simple, and it feels so good to work with the Earth’s gifts to heal ourselves and our loved ones. Wishing you all good health, happy hearts, and expanded spirits!

Apocalyptic Prophecies From The Most Popular Religions

The end of world prophecies
Alas, the end of the world is not knowable. Sorry. A Shutterstock Licensed Image.

“The Apocalypse is not something which is coming. The Apocalypse has arrived in major portions of the planet, and it’s only because we live within a bubble of incredible privilege and social insulation that we still have the luxury of anticipating the Apocalypse.”

— Terence McKenna

There are many religions and cultures that tout profound and mysterious “holy” books including apocalyptic prophecies. The most enduring of these tomes are the Bible and Quran, the most powerful and influential books birthed in recent history. These beloved testaments represent the beliefs of an almost unfathomable number of Christians, Jews, and Muslims throughout the world.

Although these sacred scriptures are authoritative in their entirety, many devotees take the writings with grains of salt or focus on excerpts, which include the Torah (Tawrat), Zabur (Psalms), and Gospels of Christ (Injil).

Also, there are many related and adjunct writings that have not been fully approved by these popular religions. These include the Catholic Apocrypha, The Latin Vulgate and Septuagint, The Muslim Scrolls of Abraham and Moses, and the Gnostic (unabridged) Gospels, featuring the confronting Gospel of Mary and suggestive Gospel of Peace.

“The probability of apocalypse soon cannot be realistically estimated, but it is surely too high for any sane person to contemplate with equanimity.”

— Noam Chomsky

How Have Apocalyptic Prophecies Played Out So Far?

Some of the most popular and feared chapters in these hallowed volumes refer almost exclusively to apocalyptic prophecies and events, the end of the world as we know it. They outline specific details about how a Messiah or Devil will appear and how the world we’ve come to love will be destroyed or reborn:

  • Books of Revelations, Daniel, Jubilees, Esdras, Isaiah, Malachi, Micah, Kings, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Zechariah, Matthew, Mark, Thessalonians, Haggai, Amos, Lamentations, Hosea, Nahum, Elija, and Elisha.
  • Apocalypses of Abraham, Adam, Baruch, Daniel, Elijah, Ezra, Gabriel, Lamech, Enock, Moses, Sedrach, Zephaniah, Zerubbabel, James, Galias, Pseudo-Methodius, Paul, Peter, Samuel, Stephen, and Thomas
  • The Aramaic Apocalypse
  • The Apocalypse of the Seven Heavens
  • The Book of Mormon

Whether the apocalyptic prophecies in these books are already etched into the stones of destiny or are merely twisted projections written by delusional cultists as fictional prose, these writings outline a long list of incredible events that many have believed to be the future playbook of humankind.

“We all love after-the-bomb stories. If we didn’t, why would there be so many of them? There’s something attractive about all those people being gone, about wandering in a depopulated world, scrounging cans of Campbell’s pork and beans, defending one’s family from marauders. But some secret part of us thinks it would be good to survive. All those other folks will die. That’s what after-the-bomb stories are all about.”

― John Varley

  • By 2040, a variety of alien species (from other planets and galaxies) will make themselves known and teach us about the true origins and history of planet Earth
  • The Earth will become a slave-state with the sole mission of supporting non-biological Beings and robots
  • Several companies will continue to thrive through the ages, thousands of years into the future, including IBM and McDonalds
  • Before 2050, every human being will be chipped with an RFID
  • Before 2075, every chipped human being will be managed, mentally controlled, and emotionally influenced by a global electronic monitoring system
  • Before 2100, salt-water fish will become extinct, except those that are able to adapt
  • At some point within the next 200 years, the universe will begin to reverse its expansion, which will cause time and gravity also to reverse
  • In 8000 years, the human race will either be extinct or unrecognizable
  • In 20 billion years, the universe’s atoms will have adopted new attributes, including no longer being able to contain their electrons (The Big Rip)
  • “The contraction of the universe with reversal of time and gravity will commence the beginning of the end, which will last for thousands and possibly millions of years. We will be removed from the regressing effects of reversed time as we come back alive in our own time. We will then be taken across many dimensions beyond this universe. A beautiful natural mechanism that is based on the laws of physics will cause all that to happen. This real end has nothing to do with wishful thinking and predictions of priests or shamans.”

— Dr. M.H. Kahn

The World’s Apocalyptic Religions, Movements, and Cults

Whether it’s born from a religious testament, a real prophet, the teachings of a short-lived, fear-based cult, or a vision from someone with an overactive imagination, most apocalyptic prophecies never see the light of day.

When a religious leader promotes a date for the end of the world, their organization sees a rise in membership and revenue. While it’s misguided and dangerous, predicting the Apocalypse is good business.

Here are a few more of the world’s religions, movements, thinkers, and troublemakers that have apocalyptic prophecies, outcomes, and events, and promoted catastrophe-based ideologies:

  • The Crusaders
  • The Assyrian Empire

“Our Earth is degenerate in these latter days; there are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end; bribery and corruption are common; children no longer obey their parents; every man wants to write a book and the end of the world is evidently approaching.”

— Assyrian tablet, 2800 B.C.

The Truth About The Universe

The universe is a wild frontier and system built upon a limitless number of electric, magnetic and chaotic anomalies, all occurring in once instance, within multiple trajectories, and in a host of realms, all affecting each other. Given the temporary nature of our lives, and the eternal nature of conscious matter, human beings, in our current forms, are rather inconsequential.

Time does not exist. It’s a construct that helps us make sense of the madness. When the end comes, it will most likely be the result of a depressed, overworked, and sleepy, military technician. While misinterpreting a weapon’s cleaning instructions from an out-dated manual, he’ll pop a donut in his mouth, spill his coffee on the red button, and this iteration of reality will conclude.
